#GivingTuesdayNow — gratitude, compassion and service.
Gratitude, compassion and service are at the core of what we teach at Outward Bound Canada. This #GivingTuesdayNow and every day, we’re incredibly grateful for the efforts of those on the frontlines fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, and those dedicated to helping others during this challenging time.
We’re thrilled to see so many members of our community giving back, including Pete Smolders, our West Coast Director. He volunteered his time this past weekend to make sandwiches for the Indigenous Harm Reduction Team (IHRT) in the Unceded Coast Salish Territory of the Lkwungen and WSÁNEĆ People (Victoria) to distribute to those battling with addiction and homelessness.
As we continue to navigate these unchartered waters, the support of our students, partners, donors, alumni, staff and volunteers has never been more important. Thank you for your continued support in keeping Outward Bound Canada and our communities strong. Together, we will weather this storm through the power of generosity, compassion and unity.
Sincerely,
Andrew Young
Executive Director
