Ontario Wilderness: 14-Day Whitewater Canoe Adventure in Temagami

Are you looking to challenge yourself as a leader and expand your paddling skills?

The Temagami River offers a mix of beginner to intermediate whitewater rapids, making it an ideal spot for youth to build their paddling skills. This adventure starts with 3-4 days of canoeing on Lake Temagami before transitioning to the river’s upper two sections, including a solo overnight on Cedar Lake. Over the course of the trip, participants will push their limits, discovering both their personal strengths and the value they bring to the group. To join this whitewater program, youth need prior paddling experience and should feel confident swimming in lakes while wearing a life jacket.
