Ontario Wilderness 32-day Leadership Whitewater Canoeing

Are you a strong leader looking to put your skills to the test?

Join us on our longest and most challenging expedition. While travelling down the Missinaibi River from Missinaibi Provincial Park to Moosonee, your instructors will help you build and refine your flatwater and whitewater paddling skills. You will also learn about your leadership skills and put them to use. As a team, you will progress through the Canadian Shield, downstream to the lowlands of James Bay, working together to navigate, portage, and build camp each night. Along the way, keep an eye out for the powerful Thunderhouse Falls and Hells Gate.

Course work for your high school credit will be done through activities, group discussions and analysis, and daily journal reflections.

** Please note that Outward Bound Canada now requires all staff and students to be fully vaccinated unless they are granted an exemption. Click here to read our vaccination policies.
