Northern Ontario 7-day Flatwater Canoeing for 2SLGBTQ+ Youth
Join other 2SLGBTQ+ identifying youth for a 7-day wilderness expedition.
This new course offering focuses on building skills, community and facilitating stronger connections between individuals, the group and the natural world. Designed especially for 2SLGBTQ+ identifying youth ages 16-18, this course aims to provide a supportive space, alongside an authentic wilderness experience that will equip participants with both technical and personal skills that can be taken back to their own communities, schools and workplaces. This unique course will introduce you to new activities and adventures in the stunning wilderness that thrives inside of Canada’s world-renowned wilderness and will start you on an inspiring journey of discovery, helping you to unlock your true potential and gain a clearer understanding of what you’re capable of.
This journey-based tripping expedition will not only teach you functional skills like camp craft and canoeing, but it will also help you to better understand the natural environment around you, and the critical role we all play in helping to support it. But most importantly, you will be able to learn critical skills for life that will help you to be more successful at home, at school, and in your daily life.
