Rocky Mountain 7-day Backpacking For 2SLGBTQ+ Young Adults

Explore the Rocky Mountains while developing outdoor and leadership skills with fellow queer and trans young adults in a positive and supportive environment. This is a course for 2SLGBTQ+ students to travel through Niitsitpiis-stahkoii (Blackfoot), Iyarhe Nakoda and Tsuu T’ina territory on a seven-day backpacking expedition. You and your group will hike alongside rivers, over mountain passes, through alpine meadows, and maybe even find a rainbow or two along the way. This journey is the perfect opportunity to celebrate your truest self.

Is this course right for me?

The expedition is designed for 2SLGBTQ+ young adults who have a passion for community building and are looking for a physical and mental challenge. No previous backpacking experience is required. Be excited to step outside of your comfort zone and learn new skills in an encouraging and supportive group.

** Please note that due to COVID-19 protocols, you may only register for a course in your province of residence.
