Toronto Outdoor Adventure – High School Credit Program
This course is a great opportunity to explore the greenspaces of Toronto with a group of peers all while earning a high school credit! Throughout the program, we will discover new parts of the city using local trails and waterways, make new connections with peers, and build our team all while hiking and paddling. Whether you are experienced in the outdoors or new to expeditions, this is a wonderful opportunity to seek out adventure and reconnect with others in nature. Students will have the opportunity to work on, and earn a high school credit through the Ontario Ministry of Education: Gr.12 Health Living and Outdoor Activities (course code PAD4O). There is no prerequisite for this course – we encourage all students to ask their school guidance counsellor if this credit will fit their graduation requirements.
This program will originate each day at the Evergreen Brick Works in the Don Valley. The program will run each day from 9:30am – 4:00pm. The program will use a variety of locations in and around Toronto, but will be predominantly based at our Toronto Urban program centre.
** Please note that due to COVID-19 protocols, you may only register for a course in your province of residence.
