West Coast Indigenous Youth Leadership
Are you ready to embrace the challenge and become a leader in your community? Do you see yourself taking the opportunity to be part of positive changes at home? Then come join us and flex your leadership muscle on our 14-day Indigenous Youth Leadership Course.
You’ll get a chance to learn some new skills and make some new friends while discussing with your peers what it takes to be an indigenous leader in the 21st century as you travel through Clayoquot Sound, on the edge of the Pacific Rim National Park.
This has been the traditional territory of three Nuu- chah- nulth Nations, the Ahousaht, the Hesquiaht and the Tla-o-qui-aht People for over 5000 years. You and your group will move through the islands and inlets of one of Canada’s eighteen UNESCO Biosphere Reserves, camping on white-sand beaches and in ancient rainforests, enjoying pristine west coast sunsets.
