Underserved youth
The Outward Bound experience removes participants from their everyday environment and immerses them in an exciting outdoor adventure where they must draw on their individual strengths and work on a team to strive for success and learn along the way.
Outward Bound Canada offers a variety of outdoor adventure courses for youth and young adults. We provide an inclusive and supportive environment for participants from diverse cultural, economic, and social backgrounds, and for those with a variety of life experiences and challenges to build confidence and experience personal growth. Individuals who are respectful, willing to interact positively with their peers and follow instructions are eligible to apply for any of our courses.
Financial circumstances should never get in the way of accessing our programs. Youth who identify as Black, Indigenous or a person of colour are eligible for the RBC Future Launch Leadership Award.
