Camps are great… But what if next summer (or March break!) your teen not only had fun like summer camp, but also developed social-emotional skills that will help them at home, school, and work?
What makes Outward Bound unique?
Our expedition groups are immersed in nature for one week to 32 days, led by OBC’s highly trained instructors. Whether canoeing in the Ontario wilderness, hiking in the Rocky Mountains, kayaking on the Pacific Ocean, or exploring the vibrant natural areas of Urban Wild, participants of all ages (7-18 yrs) will gain valuable lessons that last a lifetime. Our Urban Wild programs, based in Toronto, include week-long and multi-week experiences such as climbing, hiking, canoeing, and immersive Base Camp programs in Haliburton. All Outward Bound Canada programs emphasize building self-confidence, developing social-emotional skills, and fostering a deep connection to the environment.
High school credit under the stars
Students 15 years or older can earn high school credits upon successfully completing Outward Bound Canada courses longer than 15 days.
