Algonquin Park’s 7,635 square-kilometres of forests, bogs, lakes and rivers, located in the traditional territory of the Omàmìwininìwag and Anishinabewaki Peoples, set the backdrop for an extraordinary winter experience.
Your adventure begins when you meet your group near Minden, Ontario. Here you’ll meet your seasoned instructors and get geared up for your course. The trip is a hands-on experience from the start, where you’ll learn navigation skills, proper wood gathering, camp crafts, setting up a hot tent, meal preparation and other skills essential to the success of your adventure. But it’s not just about surviving, it’s about thriving, so we’ll also focus on building your leadership skills and resilience.
